On Sunday 25 October 2026 Bela golubica ran on real elections for the first time. From 20:12, when the first record arrived, until 00:54, when the last one was entered, results from polling stations appeared on the map record by record, with a photo and a note of who entered them. Thank you to everyone who was with us that night.
How many of you followed
- 3,451 visitors and 13,151 page views in the 24 hours around the close of polls.
- Most of you were here between 21:00 and 22:00: 2,136 visitors in a single hour, while the results were arriving fastest.
- Results from 230 polling stations were entered on election night, 90% of them by 22:45.
The site handled all of it without a hitch, and the map refreshed every half minute.
Thank you, Stranka pravde i pomirenja
Special thanks to Stranka pravde i pomirenja (the Justice and Reconciliation Party) for their trust and for the cooperation, in the preparations and on election night. Through Bela golubica their HQ followed 959 polling stations in 23 municipalities and entered records all night as polling board members sent them in. Thanks to them, everyone could follow the election results live on the sample they covered.
That sample has also been checked: at polling stations processed by both the HQ and the Republic Electoral Commission, the vote count for their list matches in 98% of cases, and the record in Bela golubica was on average 102 minutes ahead of the scan published on the Commission's website.
What stays on the site
The Results page keeps both the election night entries, as a real-world example, and the official results by polling station, along with a chart of how the results came in. How it all works and how an organisation joins is on the About page.
See you at the presidential elections
The date of the presidential elections has not been set yet. As soon as it is, this is where we will write who covers which polling stations and how to join. Parties, candidates and observer organisations that want to take part can get in touch now on the Contact page.
